OMG!!! I am such a huge fan of this film... so elegant... The Samba Saravah is delicatessen for the ears... And the scene in the restaurant!! Does anyone flirt with such style, such finesse nowadays? What great direction and improvisation around the children... Claude Lelouch knew what he was doing when he made this film... even if he had hardly any budget (or so he says!). Francis Lai and Pierre Barouch... dreamy...
margo - thanks for reading! i want to put up that scene in the restaurant with the children but i can't find a way to get it off the dvd! it is like you say, such finesse. and what honest performance!
i hope all is well with your tango dancing. besos! -j.a.
